Welcome to my site!
Hey! I'm Jørgen(aka Icyhuman), and this is my website, Welcome To Snowcape. The site started as an interactive map I made to show off my
Animal Crossing island to my friends, and eventually grew into whatever this is.
I'm a mildly autistic late twentysomething with a tech degree, who fell a few years behind in life due to depression and ended up graduating after AI turned the job market into super hell.
With job hunting being borderline impossible, I needed to use my coding skills for something, and ended up gravitating towards web development.
A lot of people my age write about how they grew up on the old internet and miss it. I don't know, I explored the internet until I found flash games, and then I didn't really need to explore anymore because Fancy Pants Adventure was awesome:)
There should be another meaningful paragraph here where I make some sort of point, but I'm kinda stuck on how to make whatever point I was gonna make. I think I was gonna talk about other stuff I like, but I accidentally themed my entire site around one of my interests. Whatever. I've been playing Rune Factory 4 Special on my switch. Very good, would recommend. Also listen to Long Season by Fishmans.

Ongoing/anytime: Making various pieces for pixel cliques whenever inspiration strikes.
3/08-26: Made some buttons that are not just cropped screenshots.
1/08-26: Finished the first portion of the Cyber-Brochure™ after hours of work. Please check the tourism section I worked very hard.
26/07-26: Teaser for the new tourism section, I got way too ambitious, oh no... Probably gonna have to split this one up into smaller tasks.
17/07-26: Made the guestbook able to change pages now that there are enough comments for 2 pages. It is very janky because modifying the comment box to the extent I do is totally unreasonable and probably a sin of some kind.
8/07-26: Custom cursors+first pixel clique+little things here and there
30/06-26: Finished up the timeline tearoom(meet the locals). Man this one took a while, especially the writing part.
19/06-26: The input field for my mailbox/guestbook is now styled to be a letter(cool)
16/06-26: Added the front page, which includes this updates section
Some time before making this update section: Made the fashion and contact sections, and a cool navigation bar.
Mid April '26: Uploaded the Snowcape Interactive map, the first legit version of the site.
December 2025: Made a neocities account planning to make a site but lost motivation.
Turns out there's this thing called pixel cliques, which seems like the perfect excuse to make decor for my frontpage. All the little decor items on here are clickable links to cool places with cool art by cool people. You should explore them.(after exploring my site first :))
